Low-level radioactivity measurements
We have accrued more than 40 year’s experience in low-level radioactivity measurements of biological samples (urine, faeces, nasal mucus, etc.), food samples, mains water and the environment (rain, river or ground water, soil, plants, etc.).
We can accurately identify the presence of radioactive substances with specifically tailored analyses. We use samples collected on site or sent to us by the client.
Some typical examples of our measurement and analysis services:
- Analysis of foods on behalf of the Belgian Federal Agency for Food Chain Safety (FAVV) and individual food manufacturers.
- Analysis of mains water on behalf of major water and soft drinks manufacturers as part of their quality assurance system.
